Creamy Guacamole Recipe
There are a few recipes I make so often I simply forget to write them up. Such is my creamy guacamole recipe! I blitz up this easy and speedy guac recipe at least every other week to be served alongside tacos, or scooped up with tortilla chips on movie night.
To make my guacamole recipe especially tasty, I use a small amount of sour cream to help bring all the ingredients together into blissful harmony. The sourness of the cream helps balance out the richness of the avocado and eases the heat of the jalapeños.
This guacamole recipe is incredibly quick and easy to make, thanks to a food processor. I roughly chop all the ingredients and then throw them in the bowl to blitz. It’s a quick and easy snack, ready in less than a minute.

If you’re familiar with my love of tacos, you’ll know that I spend a lot of time perfecting my recipes and accompaniments. And in my home, you can’t have tacos, or any other Tex-Mex or Mexican feast without guacamole! Albeit it, my recipe isn’t exactly traditional, it’s still more-rishly delicious.
In all honesty, I have been blitzing together this guac for years with no changes to the recipe. It’s perfect exactly the way it is! Although, as always, feel free to make changes as necessary to suite your preferences. If you’re not a fan of heat, skip the jalepenos. Add more garlic if you want, or even more sour cream to make it extra rich and creamy. It’s an easy recipe to double too, in case you have guests!
On a final note, thanks to the lime juice (which gives it a lovely bit of zestiness!) you won’t have to worry about your guacamole recipe turning brown – it’ll stay vibrantly green just as it should.
